Antonio José Cardenal López

Antonio Cardenal López obtained his degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo, in 1992. In 2001, he obtained his PhD degree in Telecommunications Engineering with a thesis entitled “Implementation of a Real-time Large-vocabulary Continuous Speech recognizer”. His areas of expertise include Signal Processing, Digital Signal Processors, and Real-Time Continuous Speech Recognition. He is an associate professor at the University of Vigo where he teaches courses in real-time signal processing, automatic speech recognition and discrete-time signal processing. He has participated in a large number of research projects with public and private funding, and he is a regular reviewer of Speech Communications (Elsevier), IEE Electronic Letters and several other national and international conferences.
