Antonio Cardenal López obtained his degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo, in 1992. In 2001, he obtained his PhD degree in Telecommunications Engineering with a thesis entitled “Implementation of a Real-time Large-vocabulary Continuous Speech recognizer”. His areas of expertise include Signal Processing, Digital Signal Processors, and Real-Time Continuous Speech Recognition.
He is an associate professor at the University of Vigo where he teaches courses in real-time signal processing, automatic speech recognition and discrete-time signal processing. He has participated in a large number of research projects with public and private funding, and he is a regular reviewer of Speech Communications (Elsevier), IEE Electronic Letters and several other national and international conferences.
